Lavender gel face mask is a cooling mask which is good for soothing sunburnt skin.  We use lavender water and lavender essential oil, both of which have a calming effect and may aid in relaxation and the reduction of anxiety.  We also use aloe vera which has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, and St John's wort oil for its healing properties.  Roman chamomile oil is included for its ability to soothe inflamed skin and to ease stress.
